Thank you for purchasing goods from us! We are a very small, independent woman-owned shop located in Oakland, California. Your purchase supports small business, fuels a diverse economy, and helps employ workers who are treated with dignity and respect and paid a living wage.  While we cannot match the policies of larger online stores, we aim to provide good customer service and ensure that you are happy with your purchase.  If you ever have a problem with a purchase, we will handle it one-on-one directly with you to make it right. Any time you communicate with us, you are communicating with a real live human who works in our brick and mortar shop.

Please read these policies carefully if you are unsure about your purchase and would like to make a return.

For purchases made online: unworn, unwashed items with all original tags still attached may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of purchase. Items must be in the exact same new, sellable condition and must be previously approved by our staff.  Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted. We do not offer refunds on shipping, nor do we offer free return shipping.

For purchases made in person at our brick & mortar store: we do not offer refunds. Returns will be exchanged or store credit issued.

Any items returned that do not meet the above criteria will not be accepted and will be sent back to the consumer. Pet hair or items that smell like smoke will render a purchase ineligible for return, so please take care if you are a smoker or a pet owner to keep your items in new condition.

Any product with a defect of manufacturing within the first 30 days will be replaced if possible. If not, a store credit will be issued.

All sales final on discounted merchandise. No refunds. No exchanges. No exceptions.

Please note that belt loops will rip off if you use them to pull up your pants, this is not a defect of manufacturing.  We can repair belt loops for a nominal fee, but we will not accept returns due to belt loop rips.

Please also note that too much or too little stretching in your denim is also not a defect of manufacturing. We do our best to provide you with all the knowledge, experience and customer feedback we have about how things will stretch, but as everyone has their own unique way of wearing denim, there is no fool proof way to predict exactly how something will stretch.
